Ruger is proud to introduce the Ruger American Rifle Generation II, an upgrade to the American-made rifle that has set the standard for accuracy, durability, and performance in bolt-action rifles for over a decade. Improved features include a tough, attractive Cerakote finish on the barreled action, a threaded bolt handle, a stainless steel bolt body, and an easy-to-use three-position tang safety that locks the bolt to prevent accidental opening while still allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged. The sturdy stock includes a removable comb riser for better sight alignment when using optics, along with a length of pull (LOP) spacer that can be removed or replaced to fit different shooters. Designed with input from customers, the Ruger American Rifle Generation II is poised to become the top choice for hunters and gun enthusiasts. The standard Generation II models feature a durable Gun Metal Gray Cerakote finish on the barreled action and a dark gray stock textured with black and gray splatter for excellent grip and control in the field. Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary with this special commemorative edition.
